Khan Academy, a leader in on line education, announced today that they will update their offering to teach modern day language to those iPhone users who have lost command of it.  Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy, stated, “We are excited to give users back their voice.”  Users will literally learn how to type words their voices would be articulating instead of the corresponding emojis.  For example, instead of the character covering her face with her hand to indicate embarrassment, users will text the word “embarrassing”.  They will also learn to remove gratuitous and redundant emojis which serve no purpose other than to clog SMS servers.

“I am confident adults and youth will be able to function better in society with a stronger understanding of language as a form of communication,” summarized Mr. Khan.
