Poster Board Shortage in Iran Inspires Entrepreneur

Protests continue to rage in Iran, just minus the signage.  Iranians were already suffering from the country’s sanctions.  Now with so many protesters depleting limited in-country supplies, citizens lack basic necessities to showcase their frustration with their government, military, clerics, and the Great Satan.

An enterprising Iranian man, Ibrahim Ghazi, seized the opportunity to offer a patriotic alternative to poster board.  Ghazi has taken to looming Persian rugs with the latest protester slogans.  “This was my family business so I am proud to meet the demands of all protesters.  At first it was about General Soleimani’s assassination, then of course the downing of the Ukrainian passenger plane,” Ghazi explains.  Using predictive analytics, Ghazi is already looming the next protest rugs.  “’It’s ‘OURanium: Iranians for Nuclear Sovereignty’ is testing very well with my user group.  And coming up – ‘What a JCPOS!’ and ‘Help, we’re stuck between Iraq and a hard place!’”

Ghazi explains the various models, “At my opening price point, customers can get a basic protest rug.  The next model is a protest-prayer rug which includes a slogan on one side and a Mecca compass on the other.  In case protests coincide with prayer time, just a simple flip of the rug can change the mood!  Finally, my highest end model is a magic protest carpet.  It can fly customers anywhere in Iran!  And of course, I am currently working to add anti-missile detection technology to this model.”
