Suddenly there has been a surge in scientific news with irrelevant mentions of the sun’s corona.  What has led to this phenomenon?  Physicists have grown frustrated by the attention virologists and epidemiologists have been stealing from the public.  Particle physicist Hans Drell explains, “It’s not completely dishonest.  I believe there is a term called ‘bait and hook’?  First I bait readers with ‘corona’ but then I really hook them with much more interesting information like the discovery of an exotic new tetraquark particle!  What could be more interesting than that!?  Two charm quarks and two charm antiquarks!  The reader will never want to go back to the boring coronavirus.”
