The Chinese Communist Party has pledged vaccines and other pandemic supplies around the world as it tries to mend relationships and establish itself as a global leader while the US flounders.  There is an ancient Chinese proverb to describe this perfectly, “After screwing the entire world, help struggling countries you can later use to achieve global domination.”
