Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, designer of the antibody used in President Trump’s covid treatments, disclosed that the treatment was developed using a cell line originally derived from kidney tissue from an abortion in the Netherlands in the 1970s.
In 2019 President Trump and his supporters defunded such research in a “major pro-life victory” but fell eerily silent when he was treated with the Regeneron antibodies himself. Reporters expected a wildly different response to this revelation from the president who opined, “Fetus from the Netherlands in the 70s? Amsterdam is in the Netherlands, right? There is a good chance I was there at that time and well, this treatment worked wonders on me so that fetus must have some amazing powers. Yea. I bet you it’s mine. Alex Azar, test it now!”
