Pfizer and Camel Develop Cigarette Vaccines for Europe

American scientists have serious concerns about achieving herd immunity because of the antivaxxer movement and certain population groups.  According to a survey published in the journal Nature Medicine, only 75% of Americans want to get a covid vaccine.  However, European countries’ acceptance is 10 to 20 points below that.  It is not surprising that the countries in which many believe humans can contract colds (coronaviruses OC43, HKU1, 229E, and NL63) from air conditioners also struggle to believe in vaccines.  Unlikely partners Pfizer and Camel are working to create a smokeable cigarette based vaccine for some of these EU citizens.  The technology is similar to the injectable vaccines, except the encasement of the mRNA will be inside a tobacco oil based lipid nanoparticle which will enter the lungs, just like covid.  Slow and leisurely distribution will take place at cafes and restaurants across the continent.
