Danish PM Mette Frederiksen is under intense pressure for having slaughtered millions of mink in order to stem a potential covid outbreak thought to potentially spread to humans. Mink farmers and random old ladies around the world are angered that this took place illegally in the name of a public health decision instead of nice, soft fur. Local old lady, Mildred Agnew grumbled, “You need to think when you kill mink! What they did to those animals is so cruel. Is anyone thinking about bare shouldered women like me and the impact to the luxury apparel industry that I rely on? They are absolutely creating a supply chain problem that won’t work itself out until at least double the mink that were culled are bred in the next year!”
