Most people have heard about the many controversial and sexually explicit books being banned from middle schools across the country. Some titles include, F* My G* into N, Shove W*** though the R***, Wag your T**** on top of Y***. Middle schoolers at Florida Gators Middle School would like to be part of the book banning efforts. Eighth grade class president Marky Hamilton explained, “Look, the adults can pick out their favorites to ban, though honestly it’s all immediately available on TikTok when you log into the school wifi, but mostly we’re here to say that not enough books have been banned. We’d like to add all these other so-called ‘classics’ to the list because we find them terribly offensive: Catcher in the Rye, Fountainhead, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Little Women, Fahrenheit 451, Moby Dick, Wuthering Heights, and everything else in our curriculum!”
