Over the past several months, every single flight to San Diego has been sold out.  What has led to this strange phenomenon is a change in thinking that can be attributed to Mike Smith, who is using an alternate name to maintain his anonymity and safety.  Mike is a terrorist.  He loves terror – killing people, torturing people, abducting people, and much worse.  But one day he was captivated by a brochure that featured the beautiful beaches, zoo, botanical gardens, and theme parks of San Diego.  He actually wanted to take the flight and not crash it. Mike explains, “What really sold me was Abby’s Sea Star Spin at Sea World.  I love her cute voice, and I just love to spin!”  Mike had decided rather than continuing his terror and eventual martyrdom to get to paradise, he would simply take a Southwest flight to San Diego.  “Look, the ‘Wanna Get Away’ deal was just $150.  Now I’m in paradise, and everyday I can see Abby and all the characters at the Sesame Street Bay of Play!  Also, there are plenty of bars and strip clubs just 15 mins away in beautiful Kearney Mesa!  They may not be virgins, but I can get 72 of these girls any day of the week.  What more could a terrorist want?”  When Mike Smith anonymously posted his escapades on Telegram, Southwest Airlines and all the others who service America’s finest city were overrun by bookings.  Many San Diegans are grateful for the influx of tourists, but those who were alive in 2001 are wary of the new visitors.
